Salary: £70,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience in a Lead or Senior .NET/C# engineering role, with ownership of technical decisions and delivery. Strong background in designing and developing modern, cloud-based architectures. Expertise in C#/.NET, plus capability in at least one additional backend language (Java, Golang, Python, etc.). Familiarity with front-end ecosystems such as React, Vue, or Angular. Solid grounding in data design, handling, security, and integration patterns. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team-leadership skills. Analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a passion for engineering best practice. Responsibilities: Lead technical design, solution architecture, and end-to-end delivery across client projects. Define and uphold engineering standards, ensuring platforms are scalable, secure, and future-proof. Guide teams in modern architectural approaches (e.g., cloud-native, MACH principles). Work with stakeholders, product owners, and senior client teams to shape requirements and solutions. Communicate technical decisions clearly, ensuring alignment across teams and functions. Write high-quality, maintainable .NET code backed by strong testing strategies. Contribute to and review technical implementation plans, ensuring smooth delivery through the full SDLC. Support and mentor engineers of varying experience levels, driving a culture of learning and excellence. Lead squads, projects, or product workstreams when required.
