We are a specialised subcontractor operating within the UK Water Industry, delivering high-quality electrical installations and support services across clean and wastewater projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator to join our team at our Snaith office.
Role Overview:
As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive quotations for electrical works across a range of water industry projects. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure all estimates are technically sound, commercially viable, and aligned with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed electrical estimates for water industry projects (clean & wastewater)
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
Assess labour, material, and time requirements for each project
Support bid submissions and attend client meetings when required
Maintain and update estimating databases and tools
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator (preferably in industrial or water sectors)
Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
Experience working with water utility frameworks (e.g., AMP programmes)
Electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
