What you'll be doing
Welcome to Boots Digital – an exciting, fast‑paced team within Boots UK which is at the heart of our growth plans as more customers look to us for online help, advice and shopping inspiration, as well as the best Boots products, prices and offers. As customers are changing, so are we: focusing on really understanding our customers’ needs and making the most of our great products and services to optimise the online shopping experience and deliver ambitious growth targets.
Key responsibilities
* The Digital Brand Lead will advocate for their supplier’s brands across the various categories in which it plays on boots.com.
* You will optimise the customer journey for each of their specific brands to ensure they show up brilliantly across all relevant touchpoints on Boots.com, to help achieve sales and growth targets for each category.
* You will report into the Ecommerce Trading Manager, and work with multiple other stakeholders and functions across the business, including Optimisation, Trading, Digital Experience, Supply and Marketing.
* The role is based in our Nottingham office, however, travel to London to liaise with brand partners may be required on occasion.
What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
* Measure and reporting on main ecommerce metrics for your brands, whilst driving overall revenue and profit performance by ensuring the digital execution plan is as strong as possible.
* Coordinate and optimise online launches for any new products or ranges from each brand, whilst working with trading and marketing on support plans.
* Utilise both Boots and supplier insights to analyse and understand customer behaviour, product trends and market information to help influence decisions and make recommendations for the annual plan.
* Optimise the digital execution of key brand campaigns throughout the calendar year, whether value-led or inspirational.
* You will work with a wide range of teams and individuals across boots.com and the wider business. You will seek out best practice and support from subject matter experts, such as those in design, digital marketing, product set‑up, and supply.
* Where appropriate, you will co‑ordinate various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns and brand optimisation initiatives.
* You will build strong working relationships with the key brand contacts themselves and own the supplier relationship on boots.com, which includes frequent communication on sales performance, reporting, strategic planning, day‑to‑day range maintenance online and campaign optimisation.
* Full financial performance reporting on a weekly, monthly and ad hoc interim basis; you will analyse, interpret and articulate performance drivers and identify risks and opportunities.
It would be great if you also have
* Digital experience working in an ecommerce role or able to demonstrate an active interest in ecommerce with a strong understanding of online trading levers and performance marketing – confident in using data and insight to drive performance and in building and delivering plans.
* Trading experience with strong financial acumen, able to analyze, interpret and articulate financial performance.
* Cross‑functional working, a focus on brilliant delivery and relationship building are key as you will be working with a broad set of stakeholders.
* High attention to detail and the ability to be adaptable.
* Must be highly organised, enthusiastic, and resourceful and have the ability to make decisions in a fast‑paced and complex environment.
* Clearly communicate timelines, tasks and deadlines to all stakeholders, highly proactive and able to prioritise multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
* Experience using digital analytics tools (like GA4, ContentSquare, Similar Web) would be highly beneficial but not essential.
Rewards designed for you

* Discretionary annual bonus
* Generous employee discounts
* Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave pay and gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a child
* Flexible benefits scheme including option to buy additional holiday, discounted gym membership, life assurance, activity passes and much more.
