Fram is working with a growing SME in the financial services sector who are continuing to invest in its protection capability. The business provides advice across both personal and business protection and places a strong emphasis on clear recommendations, consistency of service, and long-term client relationships. The role involves advising clients on life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and wider family and business protection needs. Work is generated through the firm’s existing client base and internal referrals, particularly from mortgage advisers, allowing advisers to focus on advice quality rather than sourcing activity. Cases range from straightforward personal protection through to more complex business and family arrangements. The position includes managing protection cases from initial discussion through to placement, working closely with colleagues to ensure a joined-up client experience. There is regular interaction with insurers, underwriters, and internal teams, with an expectation that advisers maintain up-to-date product knowledge and a clear understanding of underwriting considerations. The environment is professional and well organised, with protection viewed as a core part of the advice offering rather than an add-on. This may appeal to an experienced protection adviser who enjoys managing a steady flow of client work and values clear processes and collaboration. Several years of protection advice experience, strong organisation, and the ability to explain technical recommendations in plain language will be important. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
