We currently have a new opening for a Catering Assistant to join the Bridgeway Federation, assisting in coordinating daily activities within the kitchen and ensuring quality services for students and staff. This position is based at Broadway Infant School.
Hours: 12.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00 am - 1:30 pm, during term time plus 5 INSET days
Job Overview
You will assist with school menu planning, food preparation, and cooking, working within a team to ensure efficient catering services, including stock control and kitchen closure procedures.
You will work under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager and alongside the catering team. Bridgeway Federation operates an in-house catering service for Broadway Infants and The Ridge Junior School.
Job Requirements
* Minimum Level 2 Food Safety Award (training can be provided)
* Experience in catering for large groups in a supervisory role
* Knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH, dietary and allergen requirements
* Commitment to high-quality, consistent catering in a busy environment
