Job Description
3. Oversee and manage stock levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
4. Monitor and reconcile stock discrepancies with the Accounting & Finance team.
5. Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate stock deliveries and returns.
6. Perform regular stock audits and generate inventory reports.
7. Utilise stock management systems to maintain up-to-date records.
8. Identify and address potential stock shortages or overstock issues.
9. Support the finance team with stock valuation and month-end processes.
10. Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Stock Controller (Finance) should have:
11. Experience within the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
12. Proficiency in using stock management systems and software.
13. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
14. Good understanding of stock control processes and inventory principles.
15. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, especially Accounting & Finance.
16. Excellent problem-solving abilities and organisational skills.
