Role: Sales Development Representative
Location: Birmingham
Sector: Ed-Tech & Consultancy
At National Neurodiversity Training, we enable organisations to embrace neurodiversity as a business advantage. We increase productivity, improve retention, and ensure legal compliance.
Our high-value projects empower C-suite teams, senior stakeholders, and neurodivergent employees to upskill talent and build inclusive, high-performing teams. We’ve helped industry leaders like the NHS, HSBC, and Transport for West Midlands embed neuro-inclusive practices to achieve business success - and we’re just getting started.
As a fast-scaling startup, we operate with the agility and excitement of a young company, but sell with the experience and sophistication of an enterprise player. Now, we’re looking for an ambitious SDR to join us on this journey.
The SDR Role
You'll be the engine of our growth, learn from industry veterans and open up meaningful conversations with senior decision makers at some of the world's biggest companies. There are huge opportunities to progress and you'll be making a genuine impact.
Responsibilities include:
* Outbound Prospecting: Identify and engage key stakeholders across enterprise accounts, including CPOs and other senior L&D/HR/DEI leaders.
* Multi-Channel Outreach: Use a mix of cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to create meaningful connections and generate interest.
* Networking & Representation: Attend industry and community events to promote NNT’s brand, build authentic connections, and convert relationships into client opportunities.
* Consultative Approach: Learn and articulate our value proposition, aligning our offering with customer challenges.
* Pipeline Growth: Secure meetings for our sales team and contribute directly to revenue growth.
* Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends and understand what’s driving transformation in the neurodiversity/DEI space.
* Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and leadership to refine messaging and optimise outreach strategies.
Who Are You
While no sales experience is necessarily required, the right motivations are super important to us:
* Resilience & Drive: You thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
* Passion & Enthusiasm: A genuine, keen interest in what we do and how we're helping.
* Curiosity & Adaptability: You ask great questions and are eager to learn.
* Coachability: You actively seek feedback and apply it to get better every day.
* Strong Communicator: You can engage senior stakeholders with confidence.
* Self-Starter: You take initiative and are proactive in your approach.
What the Zest team think:
'I'm so excited to be working with a business that not only is growing immensely, but also driving genuine impact for enterprise businesses. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of something meaningful.'
