Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Semi Senior Accountant to join our team. This job would be based across our Chester and Wrexham offices.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounts preparation and corporation tax returns.
Duties
* Prepare financial statements and corporation tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
* Utilise accounting software such as Xero for efficient financial management.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accountants, fostering their professional development.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Semi Senior Accountant or similar role within an accountancy practice.
* Proficiency in accounting software including Xero is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* AAT level 4 as a minimum qualification.
This role is a 32 hour week, but a full time wage, finishing at 1pm on a Friday, with hybrid working.
