SEN Teaching Assistant – Leeds Area 🌟
Are you a compassionate, dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in children’s lives? We are currently seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join supportive schools across the Leeds area.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support to reach their full potential. You’ll assist in delivering tailored learning plans, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet individual needs
Encourage positive behaviour and social development
Monitor and record student progressWhat We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
