Job Description
3. Process and reconcile supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
4. Ensure timely payment of invoices, adhering to company policies and procedures.
5. Maintain and update accounts payable records in the accounting system.
6. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
7. Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve any payment queries or discrepancies.
8. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial documentation.
9. Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
10. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
11. Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar role within accounting and finance.
12. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
13. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage financial records.
14. Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving payment issues.
16. A sound understanding of financial processes and procedures within the FMCG industry.
