Welsh-Speaking Supply Teaching Assistant - Holyhead, Anglesey
£14.24 per hour | Flexible Supply Work
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Supply Teaching Assistant to support primary and secondary schools in the Holyhead area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for fluent Welsh speakers who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and are looking for flexible work within education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting teachers in delivering lessons through the medium of Welsh and English
* Assisting pupils with their learning on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
* Promoting the use of Welsh in the classroom and supporting language development
* Helping to manage classroom behaviour
* Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
Requirements:
* Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
* Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
* A supportive, patient, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
