We are representing a highly respected facilities management provider, delivering essential services across a flagship healthcare PFI contract in Southwest London. They are now seeking a talented Senior Technical Services Manager to lead on-site operations and drive high standards in technical delivery and compliance across the estate. The Role The Senior Technical Services Manager will report to the Site Business Director and have responsibility for leading the technical FM delivery across a large, complex hospital site. You’ll take ownership of statutory compliance, maintenance delivery (PPM and reactive), performance monitoring, project delivery and supply chain optimisation—ensuring excellent client relationships and full P&L accountability. Key responsibilities include: * Leading the hard FM team, driving service excellence and operational efficiency. * Ensuring engineering activities meet statutory and contractual obligations. * Managing self-delivered and subcontracted services, including supplier performance and cost control. * Oversight of KPI and SLA compliance, client reporting and document control. * Providing strategic insight into lifecycle works, asset replacement, and technical innovation. * Engaging with key stakeholders including Trust contacts, JV partners, and internal teams. * Managing incident response as part of an on-call rota and maintaining site resilience. What We’re Looking For Essential: * Significant experience in technical FM leadership, ideally within healthcare, PFI, or regulated environments. * Sound commercial skills and demonstrable P&L accountability. * Strong understanding of statutory compliance, H&S, and engineering standards. * Proven ability to manage and develop site-based teams and subcontractor relationships. * High-level communication skills with an analytical and proactive mindset. * IT proficiency, especially in CAFM and MS Office tools. Desirable: * ONC/HNC (or higher) in a relevant engineering or building services discipline. * NEBOSH or IOSH certification. * Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., IWFM, CIBSE). * Knowledge of CDM regulations and ISO 9001 standards.
