POSITION: Quality Engineer
INDUSTRY: Sheet Metal Fabrication / Engineering
LOCATION: Telford, Shropshire.
Contek Recruitment are currently working with a specialist sheet metal fabrication company, based in Telford, Shropshire. Due to company growth, they are on the hunt for a Quality Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance processes, as well as the ability to analyse data and implement effective quality control measures.
Requirements:
* Previous quality experience within an Engineering environment is required, with a background in sheet metal fabrication preferred, although this isn't essential.
* Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office.
* Experienced with a wide range of measuring equipment, including veriners, callipers, height gauges, CMM, and measuring arms.
* Experience with first off, in process, and final inspection.
* Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
* Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 standards and procedures.
* PPAP generation including control plans, PFMEA’s, and FAIRS.
* Internal auditing.
* Experience within a customer / supplier facing role.
* Driving license required.
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday (Days)
SALARY: £32k - £37k per year (Dependent on experience).
