You’ll have the chance to make a positive impact on the environment through sustainable engineering solutions, working on a variety of exciting water and wastewater projects (including storm overflows, flood alleviation, and catchment and nature-based solutions). This role will give you the exposure needed to broaden your understanding of the industry.

Application deadline: Recruitment is ongoing. Please apply as soon as possible as the advert may close once we have sufficient applicants.

Role and Responsibilities

Working alongside our MEICA team, you will:

* Support technical audits and risk evaluations.
* Contribute to electrical and ICA design activities.
* Liaise with other technical disciplines at feasibility, outline, and detailed design stages.
* Help produce timely, cost-effective engineering solutions.

About You (Qualifications and Attributes)

We value your potential over past experience. We welcome your application if you have:

* A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
* A keen interest in the water industry.

We’re also looking for people who are:

* An Adapter: calm in new and changing situations, comfortable switching between a variety of dynamic tasks.
* A Perseverer: composed in the face of setbacks, approaching challenges with confidence and determination.
* A Collaborator: effective working with diverse teams, considering others’ perspectives to shape better outcomes.
* A Problem-Solver: keen to share ideas and challenge conventional thinking.

Working Pattern

Please note, we ask our graduates to come into the office 4 days per week to ensure sufficient time with your team and the appropriate level of support.

What We Offer

* A competitive salary.
* Private medical insurance.
* A range of benefits, including holiday buy and sell, group income protection, and life assurance.
* Permanent employment contract, demonstrating our commitment to your long-term career at Stantec.
* Professional progression plan, supporting you to gain professional chartership.
* A supportive and collaborative team environment, Early Careers peer group, and wider Employee Resource Group (ERG) network.
