The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students across KS3 and KS4 in a range of subjects
Work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to raise attainment
Assist teachers with lesson prep, resources, and in‑class support
Help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
Provide tailored support to students with SEND and other additional needs
Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families
Requirements
You must have:
Previous experience working in a UK secondary school
A degree in any subject
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage young people
A proactive, patient, and positive approach
The confidence to support learning in busy classroom environments
Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
