Overview
We are looking to bring on at IT Support Apprentice who will provide first-line technical support to staff, assist with system maintenance, and learn core IT skills through on-the-job experience. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and eager to start a career in IT.
Responsibilities
* Respond to helpdesk queries and resolve basic IT issues (hardware, software, network).
* Set up and configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
* Install and update software applications.
* Assist with user account management and password resets.
* Support IT projects such as system upgrades and deployments.
* Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and solutions.
* Follow company IT policies and security procedures.
* Complete all apprenticeship training modules and assessments.
Desirable skills
* Basic understanding of computers, operating systems, and networks.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
* Enthusiastic and willing to learn new technologies.
* Must have a drivers licence.
Salary: £20,000 per annum.
Working hours: 35 hours a week, 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
