We have a fantastic opportunity to join the IT & Business Change team at Greggs as PMO Analyst.

In this key role, you’ll support effective delivery across our IT & Business Change portfolio, ensuring strong governance, clear reporting and consistent ways of working. You’ll work closely with Business Change Managers, Programme Governance teams and Project Managers to embed best practice, drive continuous improvement and help ensure successful delivery of business and technology change.

If you’re organised, collaborative and great at bringing clarity and structure to change initiatives, this role is central to shaping how change is delivered across Greggs.

About the role

17. This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
18. We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
19. The base location for this role is Innovate House, Balliol Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne

What you'll do

20. Oversee governance activities across the IT Business Change Portfolio and Next Generation SAP Programme
21. Maintain portfolio level and programme level reporting including:
22. Roadmaps and delivery milestones
23. RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies)
24. Change control
25. Resource forecasting and utilisation
26. Budget tracking and ad hoc reporting
27. Ensure projects and programmes align with business goals and strategic direction
28. Create and drive a PMO strategy stiving for business maturity in governance
29. Maintain and continuously improve PMO standards, templates, frameworks and guidance for both the Portfolio and the NGS Programme.
30. Compile and prepare key reporting packs such as:
31. Ops Board reports for IT & Business Change
32. Portfolio dashboards and performance summaries
33. Engagement and success stories for Business Change communications
34. KPI reporting at project, programme, and portfolio levels
35. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance governance controls and strengthen delivery performance
36. Work closely with Business Change Managers, Project Managers, Programme leadership and cross functional teams to support delivery activities
37. Provide support for planning activities, dependency mapping, milestone alignment and reporting deadlines
38. Facilitate clear communication across teams, ensuring updates flow effectively between stakeholders

About you

You will fit right into this role if you:

39. Experience working within a Project/Programme/Portfolio Management environment
40. Knowledge of project management tools, techniques, governance disciplines and delivery frameworks
41. Strong written and verbal communication skills
42. Have advanced IT skills including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams
43. Experience in PMO functions, portfolio governance, or programme assurance
44. Are a strong team player, able to build good working relationships at all levels
45. Are results focused with strong planning, prioritising and organisation skills
46. Can multi-task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales
47. Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions
48. Able to engage and work collaboratively with other teams to make improvements to processes and influence stakeholders at all levels
