Packing Operative (Puds) Location: Somerset Salary: £14.00 - £15.50 Per Hour Job type: Permanent / Part Time Reference: 022025 COOK is seeking a Packing Operative to join its Somerset-based Puddings team . This permanent part-time role involves packing and supporting dessert preparation in a fast-paced environment, with shifts running from 16:15pm to 00:15am. Monday - Wednesday and 16:15pm to 22:15pm on Thursdays. Key responsibilities: Maintain efficient packing operations to support production flow. Work across high-care and low-care areas within the facility. Assist with warehouse stock movement and replenishment as required. Support dessert preparation following recipes and safety procedures. Adhere to all food safety, health and safety, and hygiene regulations. What we are looking for: Must be 18 or over due to past midnight working hours. No prior chef experience required, but kitchen experience is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Benefits: Free food during shifts.
