We have a unique opportunity for a full‑time Client Accountant to join our busy team in our Stirling office to support all aspects of our rural client accounts function.
Galbraith is a diverse, multi‑disciplinary firm with offices across Scotland and Northern England, specialising in property sales and lettings, and the rural, energy, forestry and commercial sectors.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
* Day to day management of a multi‑client portfolio.
* Approval of banking transactions in accordance with RICS Client Money Regulations.
* Processing of Payroll, VAT returns & P11D support.
* Preparation and review of management accounts and client reporting.
Work Pattern
The role is offered on a full‑time basis, Monday – Thursday 8.30am‑5pm & Friday 8.30am‑4.30pm, a total of 37hrs per week. Hybrid working will be offered following an initial training period. Further details of this will be discussed at interview.
To be Successful
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within an accounts, finance or business‑related environment, or have gained relevant knowledge through further education. You will be computer literate and have experience using Microsoft packages, particularly Excel.
A key part of this role involved building trusting relationships with clients and key stakeholders, therefore you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels with internal and external clients and be calm under pressure. You will have proven organisational skills and demonstrate the ability to prioritise effectively whilst upholding meticulous attention to detail. We are looking for an individual who will thrive in a fast‑paced environment and be a team player.
You must hold a full clean driving licence.
