An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nurse Specialist to join our Gynaecology team. This is a fixed term funded post within our gynae services, and we are looking to recruit an experienced nurse into our friendly, expanding and evolving team. We are seeking someone who can develop and integrate this role into our services and be an advocate for women\'s health.
We are looking to recruit an experienced, qualified nurse who is currently practising as a nurse specialist and undertaking the roles required for this vacancy. The ideal candidate will be a qualified nurse with NMC registration and be enthusiastic about women\'s health. The right candidate will be motivated for change management and be resilient and skilled in leading and shaping the service.
Main duties
The post-holder will be an advanced nurse practitioner and will be responsible for the management of a defined caseload, providing highly specialist nursing support, education and care to that group. They will be responsible for assessment of care needs, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, setting standards of care, and supporting evidence-based practice within Endometriosis.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will support the ongoing care needs of this cohort, manage expectations, support ongoing care needs and symptom control, and audit the service\'s overall performance against National guidelines.
