Valuation Surveyor – Retail
UK | Full-Time | Car Allowance + Excellent Commission
A leading specialist advisory firm is seeking a RICS Chartered Valuation Surveyor to join its Retail team.
This role focuses on valuing going concern retail and roadside trading assets including convenience stores, petrol filling stations and garden centres. You will be responsible for preparing detailed valuation reports, applying appropriate methodologies, and maintaining full RICS compliance.
You will also build strong relationships with banks, operators, accountants and other professional contacts, contributing to business development and market growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct valuations of retail and trading businesses
* Apply appropriate valuation methodologies and prepare detailed reports
* Maintain full compliance with RICS regulations and company policies
* Build and develop strong external networks
* Generate new business opportunities
* Monitor market activity and sector trends
* Respond effectively to client enquiries
* Achieve agreed financial and performance targets
* Cross-sell services across the wider group
* Maintain and utilise CRM systems effectively
Requirements
* RICS Chartered Surveyor (essential)
* Post-qualification valuation experience
* Strong report writing and analytical skills
* Commercially minded with excellent communication skills
