Senior Design Manager – Strategic Projects

Join our Strategic Projects team delivering large-scale acute healthcare facilities across the UK. In this role you will lead design delivery for a designated workstream comprising multiple packages across complex major projects worth over £250m.

Responsibilities
* Lead design delivery across the designated workstream, coordinating with other workstreams for seamless integration.
* Supervise design team consultants and supply chain partners to ensure consistent quality and compliance with programme schedules.
* Manage design risks and opportunities to deliver timely design outputs.
* Support client interfaces, including user groups and stakeholder engagements.
* Line manage and mentor design management members, providing career development.
Qualifications
* Experience leading design on complex projects (£50m‑£150m) or package delivery on major projects (>£250m), preferably in healthcare.
* Construction qualification (minimum HND, HNC, or T Level) in a relevant discipline.
* Strong technical knowledge of regulations and digital applications in construction.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to nurture relationships.
