Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, patient Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a 14-year-old learner with complex needs.
Responsibilities
* Provide consistent 1:1 support, ensuring safety, comfort, and engagement.
* Use communication aids (PECS/AAC) to support interaction.
* Work alongside therapists and specialist staff to implement tailored strategies.
* Support access to sensory activities and therapies.
* Follow medical and care protocols, including tube feeding.
* Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment to support wellbeing.
About The Student
The learner has significant needs including sensory processing challenges, hearing and visual impairments, is tube-fed, and is non-verbal (currently using PECS and transitioning to an AAC device).
She enjoys activities such as music therapy, speech and language sessions, swimming, horse riding, and working with her visual and hearing therapists.

Job Details
* Job Type: Part-time
* Pay: £97.68-£144.99 per day
* Expected hours: 25 per week
* Licence/Certification: DBS (preferred)
