About the Role:
We are looking for acompassionate, reliable, and proactive Community Health Support Workerto support aGentleman living with Cerebral Palsy and asthma who lives in theNG17 area of Kirkby -in- Ashfield. He has good sense of humour, interest in sports and proactive. Enjoys a pub lunch out in Nottingham and attends football games and ice hockey. Likes to have British hearty home cooked food.
The successful applicant must have a cleanUK Driving Licence, and able to drive the customers car.
This is aLive in based roleworking on a1:1 basis, involvinglong social visitson aconsistent rota(including Saturdays and Sundays).
Your Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the client’smental wellbeing, independence, and daily living needs i.e. (To cook and serve meals, Basic domestic tasks)
Engaging incommunity activities, conversation surrounding sports and interests (especially football) and social outings
Assisting to maintain personal appearance.
Engaging in companionship living within the client’s home.
Buildingprofessional and respectful relationshipswith the client, family, and external care professionals
Provide emotional support and encouragement.
About You:
Experience of working with customer with Cerebral Palsy preferable but not essential
You areempathetic, professional, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care
You are able to form strong, professional boundaries while offering emotional and practical support
You hold aclean UK driving licenceand have access to a vehicle for work
You are interested in developing or enhancing your skills in thecare and mental health sector.
You are willing to work weekends and follow aconsistent shift pattern
