We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience working in busy kitchen environments. Duties
* Prepare a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
* Cook meals efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
* Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection
* Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
* Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and storing ingredients properly
* Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages or expiry dates
* Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during service hours
* Serve food to customers in a professional and courteous manner when required
Qualifications
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
* Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality settings is highly desirable
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* Previous experience in meal preparation, serving, or culinary roles is advantageous
* A recognised culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred but not essential
