Job title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Clockhouse Children’s Home – Burnley
Hours: 40.5 hours per week
Salary: £30,500 - £34,100 (depending on experience and qualifications) *
Earnings: £35,675 - £39,275 (based on 10 sleep ins per month)
Shift Pattern: 1 shift on, 2 shifts off
Shift Times: 8am – 11 pm followed by a sleep
Annual Leave Entitlement: 251.1 hours

The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Clochouse. This role is perfect for someone with at least 12 months’ experience in a children’s residential home, who is passionate about making a real impact. Working alongside an experienced and supportive management team, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive, nurturing home environment where young people feel safe, supported, and empowered.
You will be inducted by our industry leading, award winning learning & development team, and guided in your role by more senior staff members, including psychologists/therapy team to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviours effectively and nurture the young people in your care towards positive futures.
1. Desirable: QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare/Level 3 Diploma Children and Young People’s Workforce (not essential, Hexagon will pay for the new level 4 Diploma if required)
2. Essential: Full UK driving licence
3. Essential: Minimum of 12 months experience working specifically in a residential home for children, we cannot consider candidates with a background of adult care, domiciliary care, school/EYFS experience
