We are looking for NDT Inspector for a 12-month contract on a 3 shift pattern based in Bristol for Rolls-Royce who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planets vital power needs. In this role you will inspect, and sentence critical Turbine components. You will also work to exact tolerances. You will have the ability to play an active role in continuous improvement within your cell, develop existing processes and implement process improvements. As an NDT Inspector you will be: Perform Special Process/Operational tasks consistent with the requirements of the team, statutory and company standards (e.g. Health, Safety, Environment, Quality Management System, Production System) including the inspection of Nozzle Guide Vanes (NGVs) Participate in process improvement activities and compliance methodologies, in order to satisfy customer needs and cost reduction targets. This may include elements of factory set up and workstation design. Follow production plans to meet customer requirements. Participate in cost reduction/operational improvements to satisfy customer needs. Contribute to achievement of cell performance targets. Recognise and perform asset maintenance activities to ensure that equipment and facilities are safe and reliable to a high-performance standard. Work with other team members to deliver team objectives and requirements, including knowledge sharing and training others. Experience required from an NDT Inspector: Have NDT inspection experience in a tightly regulated manufacturing or engineering environment. You will have completed a recognised time-served apprenticeship, including City and Guilds NVQ 3 orequivalent. Have a Level 2 (or equivalent) NDT qualification You will be able to demonstrate Inspection experience. You will be confident in interpreting engineering drawings for use with precision measuring equipment. You will demonstrate a professional and flexible attitude with the ability to communicate clearly andeffectively at all levels. You will have an up-to-date working knowledge of health and safety.
