Urgently needed temporary Admin and Finance Assistant
* Location: East London
* Job Type: Temporary (until August 2025) with potential for permanent
* Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 10am-6pm with a 30-minute break
* Contract: Term Time Only Plus 3 weeks
We are seeking a self-motivated, approachable, and organised individual to join our office team as a Admin Assistant with Finance. This role involves providing efficient and effective reception, administrative, and clerical support. The successful candidate will manage the school’s reception, maintain various school databases for pupil and staff records, and provide administrative support to the setting.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage the reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases for pupil and staff records.
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to enhance the operational efficiency of the school.
* Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
* Collaborate with other staff members to support various school activities and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven administration experience, preferably within a school or educational context.
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
* Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines.
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Processing PO Numbers
* Effective communication skills with the ability to lead, multi-task, and work collaboratively in a team.
* Experience with school management systems such as Arbor/Sims, FMS/Bromcom is essential.
