We’re recruiting an HR Advisor to join an internal HR department within a well-established business. As the HR Advisor, you’ll work closely with managers across the business, providing practical advice and guidance on day-to-day HR matters.
This HR Advisor role would suit someone with experience in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment, who enjoys being hands-on and building strong working relationships.
Key responsibilities of the HR Advisor role:
* Providing day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees
* Managing employee relations cases including absence, performance, disciplinaries and grievances
* Supporting recruitment activities, onboarding and probation processes
* Assisting with the development and updating of HR policies and procedures
* Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislation
* Supporting managers with HR best practice and people-related queries
* Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting HR reporting where needed
Requirements of the HR Advisor role:
* Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
* Experience within manufacturing or a similar environment would be ideal
* CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential
* Confident advising managers on HR matters in a practical and approachable way
* Strong communication skills with a calm, organised approach
