WHAT WE OFFER
• The Start Date of employment will be: 1st August 2025
• Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
• Part Time: 20 hours, working 4-5 days per week including evening and 3 out of 4 weekends.
• We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.
Due to Health & Safety restrictions applicants must be 18 or over for this role.
Please be aware that the IKEA Store is located outside of the city and links by public transport may be infrequent. If you will be using public transport to get to the store we ask you to consider your transport route before you apply.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• You are committed to sustainability with the creativity and vision to see ways of giving products a new life.
• You have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
• You are skilled at forward planning, can handle several tasks at once with ease, and take pleasure in being a team member as well as fulfilling responsibilities on your own.
• Ability to prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Re-purpose, present and sell IKEA products with pride, and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the business.
• Work closely with the different functions in the unit to ensure that common working routines and processes are followed related to product quality, safety and recovery.
• Support and work with the product quality guidelines for recalled, returned and ex-display stock, to constantly improve customers’ perception of our IKEA products.
• Repacking, you will work items that have damaged packaging to return them to a sellable condition, supporting product availability for customers and reducing losses for the store.
• You will be required to manually handle all of our products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes.
