CNC Miller
Shift: Days or Night shifts
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
As a CNC Miller, you’ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, producing parts to exact specifications for demanding industries. This CNC Miller role requires confidence working from drawings, inspecting your own work, and maintaining accurate manufacturing records throughout the shift.
Key responsibilities of the CNC Miller include:
Setting and operating CNC milling machines on night shift
Working with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
Inspecting components using hand measuring tools
Producing parts from detailed technical drawings
Changing tools, setting offsets, and editing programs
Recording machining processes, tooling, and materials usedEssential skills and experience for a CNC Miller:
Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering
Background in aerospace, defence, or similarly high-standard environments
Strong understanding of precision machining and tight tolerances
Ability to work independently during night shift operationsBenefits:
