In House Legal Counsel - International organisation - Tech/Telco
Our client is seeking a lawyer or contracts specialist responsible for managing customer, vendor, and business partner contracts. The role reports to a Senior stakeholder and General Counsel.
This organization is driven by acquisition and growth globally.
You must work well with people at all levels across multiple countries and companies, engaging with colleagues and customers worldwide in a borderless role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer or experienced commercial contract specialist aiming to advance their career in the software, Telco, and IT industries.

The role is primarily remote, with occasional attendance at meetings in various local and international locations.
What we are looking for
* Proven significant experience in drafting, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts.
* Qualified Lawyer (Common Law Jurisdiction) with 3+ years PQE.
The successful candidate must possess:
* Extensive experience advising and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts.
* Experience with international contracts or contracts under foreign laws and jurisdictions.
* Strong negotiation skills, especially for high-value contracts.
* Experience working within or with a software or IT company (Essential)
* Experience with software licensing, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS contracts (Essential)
* Proven ability to produce and present reports to diverse audiences.
* Experience advising on global data protection issues (EU GDPR, UK GDPR, California Consumer Privacy Act).
* Willingness and ability to travel as needed to clients and offices domestically and internationally.
This role is based in the UK and is primarily remote.
