Mechanical / Electrical Engineer - Print Industry
Wakefield, West Yorkshire
Shift Pattern; 3 shifts Monday to Friday:
Earlies: 06:00 to 13:30 Monday to Friday
Lates: 13:24 to 21:00 Monday to Thursday, 13:24 to 20:30 Friday
Nights: 20:50 to 06:12 Monday to Friday
4 weeks alternating each week between and early & late shift then 2 weeks of nights.

Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our machinery, infrastructure and facilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with a strong understanding of legislation and well rounded technical knowledge. A team player with a flexible approach and the ability to problem solve & work on there own initiative
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine, reactive, planned, and unplanned maintenance, diagnose & resolve faults, ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.
Review, identify, and implement repairs and improvements to optimise production equipment performance.
Ensure work complies with relevant legislation & breakdowns/repairs are left in a safe condition, apply multiskilled capabilities across various machines.
Involvement in projects to increase the reliability & efficiency of machinery and reduce downtime.
Investigating & solving electrical and mechanical problems.Skills & Requirements:
NVQ 3 (or equivalent) Electrical / Mechanical engineering Qualification (Required).
Multi-skilled maintenance experience with an electrical bias (Preferable).
Previous experience in the print industry would be beneficial
Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence (Required).
Emergency first aid at work (Preferable or willing to undertake).
FLT - counterbalance & reach, Working at heights IPAF (Preferable or willing to undertake).
