Senior Compliance Technologist Location: Burton-On-Trent Type: Full-time, Permanent Reports to: Compliance Manager Direct Reports: 1 Lead the administrative function of the compliance team, overseeing QMS documentation, complaints handling, KPI reporting, audit readiness, and compliance data analysis. This role combines leadership, process improvement, and regulatory oversight to support food safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Compliance Oversight: Manage all compliance admin activities, providing guidance to junior team members. Complaints & Trends: Oversee complaint logging and resolution; analyse trends to drive corrective actions. KPI Reporting: Lead compliance and food safety KPI reporting and insights. QMS & Document Control: Maintain accurate, up-to-date compliance documentation. Pest Control & Hygiene Training: Manage pest control programs and deliver hygiene training. Audit Preparation: Lead internal and external audit readiness. Sample & Supplier Compliance: Oversee returned product handling and supplier non-conformance processes. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure alignment with BRC, HACCP, GMP, and customer standards. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements, including digitalisation of compliance systems. Requirements: Strong experience in compliance within food manufacturing. Skilled in QMS, document control, complaints, and KPI reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Office and compliance software.
