We’re looking for an experienced Senior PMO Lead to operate at the portfolio level, partnering closely with the Portfolio Lead to drive high‑quality delivery governance and best‑practice standards across a suite of major programmes. This is a senior role with significant influence, shaping how a large, complex transformation portfolio is run.
What you’ll do
* Provide portfolio‑level oversight, ensuring consistent governance, reporting, and delivery standards across all programmes.
* Act as a strategic partner to the Portfolio Lead, enabling informed decision‑making and proactive risk management.
* Embed best‑practice PMO frameworks, tools, and methodologies across multiple programmes and workstreams.
* Support programme teams to improve delivery discipline, planning quality, and benefits tracking.
* Drive continuous improvement across the portfolio, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance performance.
What you’ll bring
* 8 - 10+ years’ experience in senior PMO leadership roles.
* A proven track record supporting large‑scale, multi‑country transformation programmes within organisations of 20,000+ employees.
* Experience operating across a portfolio of programmes, not just single‑programme PMO.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge, influence, and guide senior leaders.
* Deep knowledge of delivery governance, portfolio reporting, and PMO best practice.
