We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Private Clients and Personal Lines Claims Handler to join our team. This role involves managing a portfolio of high-net-worth and personal lines insurance claims, ensuring a seamless and empathetic customer experience from first notification to settlement. You will act as a key liaison between clients, insurers, and service providers, delivering exceptional service and efficient claims resolution.
Proven experience working in home, motor and travel insurance is needed for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle a range of personal lines and private client claims including home, motor and travel.
* Manage the claims process from first notification of loss (FNOL) through to final settlement.
* Liaise with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and other third parties to ensure timely and fair resolution.
* Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the claims journey.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the claims management system.
* Identify and escalate complex or high value claims as appropriate.
* Independently assess and manage complex claims, utilising your extensive knowledge and experience.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the claims function.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in handling personal lines or high-net-worth insurance claims.
* Strong knowledge of insurance principles and claims processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple claims and prioritise effectively.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* General Insurance principles and practice.
* Proficient in using claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
