About The Role
We are now seeking to recruit Casual General Assistants to work in our Library & Archives team to provide support in our busy University Library. We’re looking for people to shelve and tidy book stock and provide support with stock moving where required.
You’ll be working within a supportive team, and there’ll be training provided in the different areas of work as required. The post will be based at the Penryn Campus Library.
About You
The successful candidates will be current Falmouth University or University of Exeter students. The role involves physical work, so you will need to have a reasonable level of physical fitness to move around the library, push trollies and shelve books and other material in the correct order over several hours.
These positions are offered on a casual hourly paid basis. Hours available will be dependent on the volume of work week to week, however it is reasonable to expect at least 4 hours per week.
We can work around your other University commitments on a flexible basis and the hours for the shelving roles would usually fall between 9am - 9pm Monday – Sunday.
