About the Role We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our team responsible for the accounting and reporting of trade investment (rebates/discounts) across all routes to market in Great Britain. This role will oversee the month-end process, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and completeness. Additionally, you will manage the day-to-day relationship with Senior Commercial stakeholders, support IT upgrade projects, and lead the external and internal audit processes for investment lines. Role Responsibilities Ensure the accuracy of the GB contract liabilities Prepare robust and timely period-end accounts for all investment lines across GB, adhering to group reporting deadlines Conduct period-end reconciliations for investment balance sheet accounts with adequate documentation Establish, maintain, and monitor the financial control framework, ensuring compliance with all controls Build and maintain processes related to rebates Reconcile the GB MIP to a trading contribution level by customer Manage the day-to-day relationship with Channel & Brand Finance Managers Oversee the Financial Account Review process, SOPs, Channel Finance, and CDMs Provide financial support and guidance to CDMs/SOPS team as required Experience and Key Attributes Good understanding of financial & accounting principles Advanced Excel skills Excellent communication skills to articulate finance concepts to non-finance colleagues Strong stakeholder management abilities Proficiency in MS Office, SAP R3, and SAC Proactive and personable communication style Ability to identify issues and problem-solve through to resolution Highly organized and reliable Background in FMCG (retailer or manufacturer) preferred ACCA or CIMA Qualified with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualified experience Our commitment to diversity equity & inclusion We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences - including those of different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, religions, and socioeconomic statuses.
