Dispute Resolution Paralegal — Litigation Support (1 Year Experience) Location: Banbury • Hybrid Working Available Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) benefits Hours: Full-time (flexible working considered) About the Role Our Client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Dispute Resolution Paralegal to join its busy and growing Litigation Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with at least 1 year of dispute resolution or litigation experience to gain direct exposure to complex and high-quality legal work within a supportive and professional team. You’ll assist senior solicitors on a wide range of civil and commercial disputes, developing practical advocacy, drafting and client-handling skills essential for a future fee-earner or solicitor role. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive support to solicitors in litigation and dispute resolution matters Draft witness statements, pleadings, court applications, letters before action and attendance notes Prepare court bundles and ensure compliance with CPR guidelines and court deadlines Conduct legal research, analyse case law and assist with evidence collation and disclosure Liaise with clients, experts, third-party solicitors and Counsel Attend client meetings and court hearings under supervision Manage case files, record time entries and maintain key dates accurately Handle compliance checks and administrative duties to support smooth case progression Use legal technology and case management systems (P4W experience advantageous) Areas of Dispute Work You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of contentious matters, including: Boundary & Neighbour Disputes Commercial Property Disputes Consumer & Contract Disputes Contentious Wills, Probate & Trust Disputes Debt Collection Director, Partnership & Shareholder Disputes Landlord and Tenant Disputes/Property Possession Claims Professional Negligence Settlement Agreements This breadth of work provides an exceptional opportunity to build litigation experience across multiple disciplines. Candidate Requirements Minimum 1 year’s experience in a Dispute Resolution or Litigation role Excellent drafting, organisation and file management skills Confident communicator with professional client-handling experience Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook and legal case management systems (eg P4W) Proactive, self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines effectively Committed to confidentiality and professional standards What’s on Offer?
