Billing and Collections Assurance Manager – Overview
We're currently looking for a Billing and Collections Assurance Manager on a full time, permanent basis. This position sits within the Operational Finance team, based in our Glasgow office.
Responsibilities
* Support the development and maintenance of ACCA's global billing & collections policies, standards and procedures
* Maintain clear documentation of billing and collections process ownership, roles, and responsibilities
* Deliver the billing and collections assurance plan on behalf of finance
* Perform risk-based assurance through:
o Monthly KPI and MI Review
o Targeted control testing
o Thematic reviews of high‑risk processes or teams
* Review evidence provided by first line teams and assess compliance
* Identify control weaknesses, process gaps, and emerging risks
Qualifications and Skills
* Has experience in finance operations, financial control, or finance risk/assurance
* Has experience of billing, accounts receivable, or collections processes
* Familiar with lines of defence assurance concepts
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to challenge constructively and communicate clearly
* Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations preferred but not required)
