Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of old and new properties. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The ideal applicant will possess experience with construction-related tasks, including the use of hand tools and power tools, and demonstrate physical strength for heavy lifting.
Responsibilities
* Install new roofing systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards
* Repair or replace damaged or worn roofing materials on existing buildings
* Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools
* Interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise installation
* Perform carpentry tasks related to roof framing and support structures
* Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and perform maintenance as needed
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including the safe handling of heavy materials
* Assist with masonry, plumbing, or other construction tasks as required by project scope

Pay: £140.00-£160.00 per day
