Manager – Tech - Strategy and Execution – EY Parthenon
Our Software Strategy Group (Technology deals) team sits within EY’s Strategy and Execution (S&E) team. The tech team supports private equity and corporate clients in transaction challenges related to enterprise technology, cybersecurity and product technology.
The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced technology professionals to advise clients across all sectors on technology in M&A transactions. As a Manager you will lead engagement teams through due diligence, carve‑outs, integrations and portfolio reviews, and train junior members.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver end‑to‑end technology due diligence across a target business’s technology estate.
* Evaluate carve‑out complexity, quantify costs and identify transitional service needs.
* Advise on separation, integration, TSA‑related decisions and day‑1 readiness.
* Develop 100‑day integration and transformation plans.
* Conduct rapid value‑creation diagnostics and design actionable plans.
* Collaborate with EY service lines to provide end‑to‑end insights.
* Lead workstreams, develop junior colleagues and drive internal initiatives.

Qualifications
* Professional services / consulting experience, ideally within M&A transactions (but candidates without M&A experience will be considered).
* Broad knowledge of a typical technology function, including IT, R&D and cyber.
* Experience working with private equity and senior IT stakeholders.
* Experience on complex engagements, including delivery, commercials, resourcing and risk.
* Providing advice to senior clients across multiple industry sectors, supporting key decision makers in developing and executing transactions.
* Delivering high‑quality reports and presentations.
