Role Overview
The HR Advisor will provide operational HR support across the business, with a particular focus on HR systems, employee lifecycle processes, and global initiatives including ESG and employee engagement. This role requires someone who is experienced with HR systems and data, is highly organised, detail‑oriented, and confident in dealing with employees at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
HR Systems & Processes
* Act as BambooHR global super user, serving as the go‑to person for set‑up, system queries, and troubleshooting for the HR team.
* Monitor and track completion of processes including appraisals, goal setting and mandatory compliance training (through Absorb).
* Support HR audits and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes.
Employee Engagement & ESG
* Support delivery and analysis of employee surveys – employee engagement and high‑performance environment survey.
* Help to lead the HR element of the global ESG agenda:
* Design and implement initiatives to promote diversity, inclusion, wellbeing and track progress, providing ESG Committee with quarterly updates.
* Coordinate training sessions (ISI Explained, Wellbeing and D&I) and maintain the global training log.
* Help to manage the annual ESG survey for ISI and suggest improvements to ESG Committee.
Benefits & Employee Support
* HR administration support for UK and USA.
* Provide oversight and advice on UK and USA benefits, responding to employee queries and improving processes and offering.
* Offer general HR support globally and to the Chief People Officer.
Recruitment & Onboarding
* Set up and maintain a global recruitment tracker for HR and Finance.
* Oversee smooth onboarding of new employees in the UK, including contracts, inductions, and system set‑up.
* Conduct mid‑probation reviews with employees and continuously improve the onboarding experience at ISI.
Knowledge & Skills
* HR administration experience (minimum of 2 years) with strong attention to detail.
* HR systems experience (BambooHR desirable) and a love of process improvement.
* Proficiency in Excel and confidence in handling people data methodically.
* Confident communicator, both in writing and verbally (including presentation skills).
* Critical thinker who is action orientated and can work at pace.
* Professional, approachable and collaborative, with a solutions‑focused mindset.
* Understanding of benefits administration and HR compliance processes.
