Birmingham LGBT is recruiting to the post of Sexual Health Outreach Worker to join our community sexual health team and work towards improving the sexual health of the LGBTQ+ community.
Birmingham LGBT is recruiting to the post of Sexual Health Outreach Worker to join our community sexual health team and work towards reducing the incidence of STI infection and poor sexual health, to reduce late diagnosis of HIV, and to provide and develop a sexual health and wellbeing service that meets the needs of LGBTQ+ people in Birmingham and Solihull.
The successful applicant will join a motivated and enthusiastic team based at the Birmingham LGBT Centre in Central Birmingham and will provide sexual health services from the centre and in off-site outreach locations.
Accountable to: Sexual Health Services Manager
Terms:
£24,666 per annum (pro rata) – 18.5 hours per week (plus up to 5% matched pension contributions)
Working on a rota basis including evening and weekend work and some travel to sites in Birmingham and Solihull.
25 days annual leave per annum (pro rata) plus bank holidays.
Permanent contract.
