Salary : £24,225 to £28,000 per annum Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including occasional evening and weekend work Closing Date : 1st October Interview Date : 14th October The Role Are you passionate about supporting safe and successful events? Join our Competition and Events Team as an Event Safety Officer, where you will play a vital role in helping to ensure Paddle UK events run smoothly and safely. As the first point of contact for event safety queries, you will be at the heart of our operations. Your key responsibilities will include: * Overseeing safety compliance through event recognition processes * Sampling and reviewing risk assessments to ensure best practice * Managing accurate record keeping and data capture * Providing essential administrative support to the team * Assisting in the development of resources and guidance for event safety officers We are seeking someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in event safety or compliance is a plus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn go a long way. Full details of the role can be found in the Job Description.
