Major Civil Engineering Project | Bridgwater
The Opportunity
We are looking to recruit a Technical Administrator to join a construction and civil engineering project in Bridgwater, working within a lively multi team environment.
This is a long-term contract running through to 2028, with the potential to move into a permanent position for the right candidate. You’ll be joining a busy site team working on an exciting project, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the site office.
The role is offering £14.10 per hour plus holiday pay (£15.80 total per hour).
The Role
Working closely with the Office Manager and wider project team, you will provide day-to-day administrative support across the site operations team. You will play an important role in ensuring project documentation, site administration and operational records are maintained efficiently.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing day-to-day administrative support on site
Managing delivery notes, goods received records and invoice reconciliation
Invoicing and/or CPA/ Causeway experience
Assisting with plant hire administration including on-hire and off-hire records
Maintaining office consumables and services
Collating documentation for environmental and quality assessments including CEEQUAL, CCS and Carbon reporting
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors to site
Maintaining site documentation and project records
Taking meeting minutes when required
Managing site time and attendance systems
Managing plant and site asset registers
Supporting the Office Manager and project team with ad hoc administration tasks About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy project environment.
You will ideally have:
LOCAL to Bridgwater with own transport (You will be based in one office but will have to drive to other parts of the site from time to time
Invoicing and/or CPA/ Causeway experience
Previous experience in an administrative or site office role
Strong IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A professional and efficient approach to work
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
