HGV Class 2 DriverLocation RochdaleTemp to Perm OpportunityF2 RecruitmentF2 Recruitment, acting as an employment business, are recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver for a well established distribution operation based in Rochdale.All may apply however this is an excellent opportunity for someone fairly new to the industry looking for an early opportunity to learn and grow as a professional Class 2 Driver. If you have recently passed your Class 1 and want to progress from Class 2 to Class 1, this company offers the opportunity to do so.You will also gain your ADR (Hazardous Goods) Certificate after 6 months.This role follows a clear staged temp to perm structure .Drivers will begin with a short assessment period of approximately two weeks .Once both the driver and the client agree to proceed, the role will move into the start of a 12 week temp to perm period .Pay Structure (whilst on the Temp to Perm)£14.50 per hour£21.75 per hour after 8 hoursAfter successful completion of the 12 weeks, drivers will transfer onto the clients permanent salaried contract .Permanent Package (After completion of 12 successful weeks)£36,000 per annumPaid monthly on the 25thBonus scheme up to £3,000 per annum paid on top of salaryRole OverviewClass 2 workMulti drop deliveries and collectionsPalletised goodsBox and curtain sided trailersOccasional 18T and 7.5T workMost of the work is FLT'd off at the delivery point, with some curb-side deliveries using the tail-lift and pump truckModern vehiclesWorking out of the Rochdale depotShifts5 days per weekStart times between 06:00 and 08:00Average 52.5 hours per weekMonday To FridayRequirementsValid Class 2 licenceDriver CPCDigital tachograph cardNo more than 6 minor endorsements for insurance purposesThere are no age restrictions with this positionADR desirable but not essentialEmployee Benefits 25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank holidays ,Yearly Bonus Scheme up to £3000 for Telematic ,Vehicle Accident and AttendanceCompany Benefits include:Death in ServiceFree Company UniformTraining and Development ProgrammesCompany Pension SchemeWellbeing & Counselling ProgrammeApply through F2 Recruitment and a consultant will be in touch with you.
