Contract : Temporary (6 months) with potential to go permanent
Pay Rate : GBP 25.58 per hour PAYE
Hours : Full time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to lead end:to:end recruitment activity across a broad range of service areas, supporting the Councils ambition to attract, engage and retain exceptional talent.
The successful candidate will manage permanent, fixed:term and temporary recruitment campaigns, working closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues to deliver an outstanding recruitment service and candidate experience. The role will also play a key part in workforce planning, market mapping, talent attraction initiatives and continuous improvement across recruitment processes.
What youll be doing:
Key responsibilities will include:
: Managing end:to:end recruitment activity across multiple service areas
: Providing expert recruitment advice and guidance to stakeholders
: Developing innovative attraction and retention strategies
: Supporting hard:to:fill and senior recruitment campaigns
: Conducting market mapping and candidate engagement activity
: Leading on process improvements and recruitment best practice
: Building strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation
: Supporting KPI delivery including vacancy fill rates and time to hire

To be considered, applicants will demonstrate:
: Significant recruitment experience within a large or complex organisation
: Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
: Experience managing multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously
: Knowledge of recruitment legislation, policy and best practice
: Experience of talent attraction, market mapping and candidate engagement
: Excellent organisational and communication skills
: A proactive and solution:focused approach
Experience within the public sector and knowledge of systems such as Service Now and Talent Link would be advantageous.
