Social Worker - Assessment & Intervention Team - Southend Job Advert: Southend-on-Sea City Council is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join its Assessment and Intervention (A&I) Team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with at least 2 years of A&I experience who are passionate about supporting children and families. In this role, you will: Deliver high-quality assessments and interventions for children and young people Work across CIN, CLA, CP, and Section 47 processes Ensure each child has a comprehensive Pathway Plan and risk assessment Contribute to the duty system and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams Maintain accurate case records and uphold statutory requirementsKey Details: Salary: £39,152-£45,091 (no movement - please inform candidates before submission) Location: Southend-on-Sea Civic Centre (minimum 2 days/week on-site) Incentive: One-off £7,500 payment after 3 years and 1 day in post Requirements: Must have 2 years A&I experience, a valid UK driving licence, and access to a carThis role offers hybrid working and the chance to make a real difference in a supportive and forward-thinking team.
