Reablement Support Worker Location: Various locations around Luton Contract Type: Various shift patterns (7-day rota, shifts change weekly) Salary: £17 umbrella an hour (£13 PAYE an hour) Duration: Initially 3 months Make a difference in your community – support individuals to regain their independence. Luton Borough Council is seeking compassionate and motivated Reablement Support Workers to join their Adult Social Care team. This is a fulfilling role that enables people to live as independently as possible after illness or hospital discharge, through personalised short-term support. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal, practical and rehabilitative support tailored to individual care plans Carry out therapeutic activities and skills practice to build confidence and daily living ability Help service users improve and maintain mobility and independence Work collaboratively as part of a team, while also managing responsibilities independently Support across a flexible 7-day rota, with shifts varying week to week About You: We’re looking for individuals who are committed to high-quality care and can adapt to the varied needs of service users. Essential Criteria: Experience working unsupervised within a care team Previous experience in a reablement service or similar environment NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Why Join Us?
